Sanitary Compliance & Intimate Hygiene Policy

Due to the intimate, skin-contact nature of bespoke leather restraints, collars, and tactile implements, Godforsaken Leather adheres to rigorous health and sanitary standards. Once an article has made direct contact with human skin, natural oils, perspiration, or body fluids, it cannot be safely sanitized without compromising vegetable-tanned leather, nor can it cannot ethically be restocked and resold to another patron.

Bespoke & Custom-Sized Commissions

Articles that are individually drafted, cut, and assembled according to custom anatomical measurements provided by the client (such as bespoke wrist sizes, custom neck circumferences, or tailored harness configurations) are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable from the moment cutting begins.

However, we understand that intimate sizing can occasionally require fine-tuning. If your bespoke item feels slightly loose or tight upon initial try-on, we offer complimentary fit calibrations. Clients are welcome to ship the piece back to our studio within 30 days of delivery, and our master leatherworker will punch supplementary adjustment holes, shorten straps, or reposition buckles free of artisan labor fees (client covers return postage only).

Inspection Period & Studio Defects

Every creation undergoes multi-stage quality assurance before dispatch—inspecting tensile pull-strength on D-rings, rivet seating, and edge burnishing. Upon receiving your order, please inspect your piece thoroughly. In the rare event that an item arrives with an artisan defect, flawed hardware, or an incorrect specification attributable to our workshop, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic documentation. We will promptly issue an insured prepaid return label and replace or repair the piece immediately.

We do not believe luxury leather goods should ever be considered disposable. We stand unreservedly behind the structural integrity of our workbench. Every piece bearing our mark is backed by a Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee against mechanical and assembly failures under intended dynamic use.

• What Is Covered: If your hardware or straps break, or stitching unravels, you may return the piece to our studio at any time during its lifespan. We will rebuild, re-stitch, or re-hardware the article free of charge.

• What Is Not Covered: This guarantee does not cover cosmetic wear resulting from extensive use, intentional cutting, submersion in water, chemical exposure, pet chewing, or neglect of standard hide conditioning (leather requires periodic conditioning to prevent drying and cracking. We recommend our Anointment Leather Conditioner).
